Deaf:

DCC is a place for Deaf to participate, lead, and grow together in Christ. We have Deaf events and interpret hearing events, focusing on Deaf knowing Jesus.

Cell:

Small groups, called "cell groups," meet every week in people's homes. It is a comfortable place to learn together, pray together, bring new friends and family.

Church:

We are a church, God's family. We meet every Sunday. We want to become like Jesus and encourage others to do the same.

Pastor Profile:

Pastors Rachel & Blake Cowle-Healy have a passion to minister with the Deaf. They are committed to saving souls and training disciples, both in Springfield and around the world. It is their heart-felt desire to see the Deaf know Jesus in a powerful way, leading others to do the same.

Pastor Rachel has been working with the Deaf since 1999. She was an itinerant teacher in Springfield, Illinois for three and a half years and now interprets both in schools and the community. She completed the Extension Class Program from Deaf Missions in May 2005. Pastors Blake and Rachel are ordained through Five Fold International.

Stairs of Success:

This is our process. Anyone can jump in, become trained, and change lives!

4. Send:

After believers are ready, they open a cell group and become a cell pastor, bringing in more people to Jesus.

3. Train:

Through School of Leaders, anyone can learn a right life with Jesus and become a leader at DCC.

2. Connect:

As soon as a person accepts Jesus, they begin to connect with the Family. We have "Encounter" weekends and Post-Encounter class to help change lives.

1. Save:

The most important step! First, a person accepts Jesus as Savior.
